An exited founder, Gwendolyn has made a significant impact on both emerging startups and industry giants like Meta, Mashable, and Binance, where she has specialized in nurturing projects from inception to large-scale success.
She was most recently at Binance Labs, where she built and launched the BNB Chain fund, establishing a major new initiative from the ground up.
Prior to this, Gwendolyn served as an intrapreneur at Facebook (now Meta), where she was pivotal in building a new business unit focused on venture capital partnerships and startup growth. She also provided strategic and operational expertise at Entrepreneur First, a leading deep tech investment fund, where she worked closely with PhD-level innovators to commercialize groundbreaking technologies.
As a founder, Gwendolyn successfully built and sold SGEntrepreneurs, a tech media startup, to Tech in Asia. She was also a key founding member of Thymos Capital, an early-stage technology investment firm in Singapore.
Gwendolyn played a crucial role in spearheading Mashable's expansion into Asia and showcased her thought leadership as a professional host, anchoring a TV documentary on the Internet of Things for ChannelNewsAsia.
Gwendolyn also founded OnQuestions, where she spends her time exploring the question, “What is a good question?”
Gwendolyn has been speaking internationally giving keynotes and moderating across the globe. She has been interviewed and featured on global publications like the BBC, Al Jazeera, LeMonde, Channel News Asia, Prestige, Esquire. She also regularly speaks about the future of media and tech, including at global events like SXSW, ad:tech, Seedstars, VivaTech, Millennial 20/20.
Gwendolyn built her first website when she was 12 and speaks 3.25 languages (English, Mandarin, French). She is a certified rescue diver, has jumped off a plane twice, and almost fell to her death into an ice crevasse in Chile.
